Friday, October 12th has been designated as National Farmer’s Day – a day for all Americans to pay tribute to U.S. farmers. From very early in American culture, a dairy farmer’s endless hard work has been an example to all of us and on Friday, we can all thank these hard-working men and women for their contributions to our economy.
If you can’t make it to a local dairy farm in your community to personally thank a farmer for the hard work they do to supply us with some of our favorite foods – like cheese, ice cream, milk and yogurt – you can use #NationalFarmersDay to post your message on social media.
