STATE HISTORICAL FUND AWARDS 24 GENERAL GRANTS
The History Colorado State Historical Fund awarded $3,981,448 across 24 historic preservation grants for the spring 2018 general grant round.
The State Historical Fund provides funding for a wide variety of projects with significant public benefit and community support, including restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings, architectural assessments, archaeological excavations, designation and interpretation of historic places, preservation planning studies and education and training programs.
Nonprofits and public organizations interested in archaeology and historic preservation projects can apply at the State Historical Fund website. The next grant application deadline is October 1 at 11:59 p.m.
