COLORADO YOUNG FARMERS EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION (CYFEA) ANNOUNCES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association is pleased to announce the availability of four one year academic scholarships for college bound students in the Fall of 2018. The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize outstanding students who will be a freshman or sophomore majoring in agriculture, or a junior and senior majoring in Agricultural Education who are working toward teacher certification during the 2018 – 2019 academic year.
Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a Colorado junior or community college, or a full time student at a CO state college or university, in addition to being Colorado residents. The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based upon current academics and activities in agriculture, along with an interest teaching Agricultural Education.
There will be four one-year college scholarships awarded for the upcoming 2018 – 2019 academic year, which include: one $500.00 award for an incoming freshman, one $750.00 award for a sophomore, one $1000.00 award for a junior, and one $1,250.00 award for a senior.

The mission of the Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association is to provide support and resources for its local chapters to develop and strengthen their education, leadership, and advocacy. The organization provides opportunities for its members to grow, personally and professionally, beyond their local chapters and communities.
