Colorado State University to Hold Wheat Planting Decision Meetings

Colorado State University will hold Wheat Planting Decision Meetings to discuss results of the 2017 harvest and demonstrate how producers can utilize decision making tools to make 2017/18 variety planting decisions. Dr. Jerry Johnson will present the 2017 the “Making Better Decisions: Annual Wheat Variety Performance Trial” and discuss 2017 variety trial results. Rick Novak will also discuss wheat seed issues with producers.

These meetings will be held on August 14th in Akron at 8:00am in the Events Center South Room; in Limon at 11:30 at the Senior Center; in Burlington at 3:00pm in the Community Center Conference Room; and in Lamar at 7:30pm at the County Annex Mezzanine. Meetings will also be held on August 18th in Julesburg at 9:00am at the Fire Hall and near Orchard at 12:00 at Wickstrom Farms. Lunch will be served at this location.
