Colorado State University’s Morgan County Extension is offering a Pesticide Applicator Continuing Education Credit Workshop in Fort Morgan at the Extension Office on November 28th, 2016 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. This training is aimed to provide new information on pest control, health and environmental safety, pest management technology and changes in pesticide laws and regulations. The workshop provides all 7 core credits required for both private and commercial applicators to be re-certified and renew their pesticide applicator license through the Colorado Department of Agriculture without retaking the test.
Commercial Applicators will have an opportunity to earn category credits at The Eastern Colorado Crop Production Conference. The conference has been approved for Colorado Commercial Pesticide Applicator Continuing Education Credit Units. If you hold a commercial license, you could earn category credits 101 (Agricultural Insect Control), 102 (Agricultural Plant Diseases) and 103 (Agricultural Weed Control) by attending the conference on the afternoon of November 29 at the Country Steak Out Restaurant in Fort Morgan.
The workshop fees are $45 for both private and commercial pesticide applicator core credits and $60 for commercial category credits.
