We hope that many of you are making plans to attend the CFB Summer Ag Issues Summit (Mid-Summer Meeting) in Glenwood Springs this July 17-18.

This year we are doing things a bit differently, we will not have the full day of advisory committee meetings as we have in the past. Instead, we will have tours on Sunday and the social dinner that evening, and then a large general session on Monday for everyone filled with panel discussions, followed by a dinner program on Monday night. Over the lunch hour on Monday we will be meeting as advisory committees to discuss pertinent local issues. You are encouraged to stay Monday night and enjoy some social time with your fellow Farm Bureau members, but please note that there is no session on Tuesday morning.
There will be two tours for you to choose from on Sunday afternoon: one is an energy tour to see reclamation projects south of I-70 and the other is and irrigation tour visiting Harvey Gap and Rifle Gap on the north side of I-70. We are excited about the new layout for this meeting and look forward to seeing you in Glenwood Springs on July 17th.
