NFL Contributes an Additional $1.5 Million to Fuel Up to Play 60

The NFL Foundation has once again shown its commitment to youth health and wellness by contributing an additional $1.5 million to the dairy farmer-funded Fuel Up to Play 60 program.

This means that 4,000 more NFL FLAG Essential Kits will be distributed to Fuel Up to Play 60 schools throughout the country, helping students have access to more physical activity. The NFL FLAG Essential Kits help encourage students – boys and girls – to start flag football games or leagues. Flag football is a great way for students to participate in a fun physical activity and get their 60 minutes of exercise each day!
This is in addition to the $1 million the NFL invested last year that supported Fuel Up to Play 60 and FLAG. Having resources like the NFL FLAG Essential Kits give us additional opportunities to reach more students with the program – which means that we also have more chances to talk to the students about the importance of having dairy foods in their diets!
