Get Ready, Get Set For Camp Rocky July 10 – 16, 2016

It’s our 53nd year!  Registration is now open for 2016 Camp Rocky , which scheduled for July 10th through 16th,  just outside Divide, CO. The Colorado Association of Conservation Districts (CACD) brings this educational youth camp together each year for high school students’ ages 14 – 18 years.

Our camp offers four natural resource conservation based disciplines:  Soil and Water Conservation, Forest Management, Rangeland Science, and Fish and Wildlife Management. Each student is offered one of these four areas of study and will participate within that area for the entire week at camp. Along with our campers, we have professional staff and junior leaders.

The cost of this week long conservation camp experience is only $350 per student. Each camper that is interested can go to our website at www.coloradoacd.org and download a 2016 brochure and camper application. The application, along with a $100 camp deposit, is required from each student. The balance of the $250 is due by June 1, 2016 and scholarships for this amount are available by contacting your local Conservation District here in Colorado.

If you have any questions, you can contact Amy at: amy.camprocky@gmail.com.  Or, you can call Sharon Pattee, Executive Director for CACD, at (719) 686-0020.
