DENVER — Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 — Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper will join the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade on Wednesday to meet with businesses and community leaders on the Eastern Plains to discuss economic development.
The trip is part of continued efforts to execute the strategy and objectives outlined in the Colorado Blueprint, which was created in 2011 during the first Bottom-up Economic Development Tour. The Blueprint continues to be the statewide work plan to spur Colorado’s economy, help businesses grow and attract new jobs to the state. Hickenlooper made economic development visits to La Plata, Mesa, Routt counties as well as the Denver area and Northern Colorado earlier this month. He is planning additional trips related to the Colorado Blueprint in other parts of the state in coming weeks.

10:15 a.m. – Gov. Hickenlooper will visit Colorado-based Oliver Manufacturing company, which was recognized as a 2013 Colorado Companies to Watch Award Winner for significant growth. Location: 27151 Harris Road, La Junta.
12:15 p.m. – Gov. Hickenlooper will visit with community, business and county leaders to discuss flood recovery efforts. Location: Limon City Hall, 100 Civic Center Drive, Limon.
