WSGA - Wyoming Stock Growers Association LogoCHEYENNE – January 7th, 2014 – Nominations are being sought for the 2015 Leopold Conservation Award in Wyoming. The award recognizes Wyoming ranchers who demonstrate outstanding, sustainable management of natural resources, and is presented by Sand County Foundation, the Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) and Peabody Energy.

The annual award, which is presented as the most prestigious award within the Wyoming Stock Growers Association’s Environmental Stewardship Program, includes a check for $10,000 and an automatic entry into the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s national awards program.

“Each recipient of this award in Wyoming is an exceptional steward of our natural resources,” said Sand County Foundation President Brent Haglund, Ph.D. “And we look forward to honoring more outstanding ranching families in Wyoming.”
