Nearly 4.5 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, a brain disorder that affects memory, thinking, and reasoning skills. Early symptoms of Alzheimer’s are sometimes mistaken for normal aging, so read about the different types and different causes of forgetfulness.
Although there isn’t yet a cure for Alzheimer’s, early diagnosis can help to treat the symptoms. Learn more about Alzheimer’s disease by checking out some questions and answers from the National Institutes of Health.
